Use is the production of melamine raw materials. But also medicine and dye intermediates. In medicine for the preparation of guanidine nitrate, sulfa drugs. Also can be used to prepare thiourea, guanidine, nitrocellulose stabilizer, rubber vulcanization accelerator, steel surface hardening agent, dye fixing agent, artificial leather fillers and adhesives.
Dicyanamide uses the main purposes are:
(1) as guanidine salt, melamine diamine raw materials. Dicyandiamide with acid reaction, can produce all kinds of guanidine salt. Dicyandiamide and phenyl cyanide by the reaction of benzoguanamine is a paint, laminates, molding powder intermediates.
(2) as dye fixing agent, dicyandiamide and formaldehyde reaction of dicyandiamide resin, can be used as dye fixing agent.
(3) dicyandiamide fertilizer, dicyandiamide compound fertilizer can control the activity of nitrifying bacteria, so that the transformation rate of nitrogen in the soil can be adjusted to reduce the loss of nitrogen and improve fertilizer use efficiency.
